Greetings friends of the revolution! Baltimore and the greater DMV areas are beaming with more hoopers than you can shake a hundred sticks at, and methinks it’s high time we meet and greet and spin with one another. Please come out, up, over, or however you have to travel to get to our Holiday Hoop Jam at the incomparably special space (pictured above) that is St. John’s Community Center/Church- in the Clark Room of 2640 St. Paul Street, Baltimore. Do notice the incredibly high ceiling & plenty of space, hoopers! We’ll gather around 7pm to commence our spin jam- feel free to bring some holiday cheer in the form of a snack or bevy to share~ but no obligation to do so. We will also make a non-denominational hooper-spirit-altar on the stage [complete with podium if you get reverendly or reverently inspired during your hoop play : )], so if you would like to bring a meaningful item, picture, etc. to lend for the jam-altar, please do! Suggested donation of 5-10 dollars if you’re able- to cover space rental fee. No one will be turned away. Some hoops available for jam use and/or purchase- however please bring your own if you have them. Non-hoop poi toys and the like are also super welcome. We’ll hoop ’til we droop- maybe around ten-ish? Excited to see all of our wonderful whirling selves together in one spot on Thursday the 9th!
