Last weekend’s trip down to Norfolk to hoop in support of Pam Brown proved to be a wonderful experience! Although the turn-out was small and the weather started off grey and rainy, there was such loving energy over the 2+ hours that it was impossible to keep smiles off our faces! Pam’s caseworker Marylin and lawyer Howard (pictured in photo on left & middle with Pam on the right) were on hand to hoop it up for the first time in their adulthoods, as were a handful or two of Norfolk locals who’d heard about Pam’s story in the paper and wanted to show their support. Thank you to Pam for being such a fine inspirational spirit for hoopers and non-hoopers alike. Keep on whirlin’ in the free world!
