World Hoop Day is July 7th!
The first annual World Hoop Day is fast upon us- in a week from today! This is a wonderful opportunity for all people to build both a global hooping community & more lasting local hoop groups. Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 7, 2007 (7-7-7) as World Hoop Day~ when you can know for sure that hundreds of thousands of folks across the planet are joining together in the peaceful revolution of the hoola hoop. If you are in the DC area on World Hoop Day, folks will be gathering from noon to 2pm at the north side of the Washington Monument for a group hoop session. If you are in the Baltimore region, many of us will be getting together at a location still to be determined~ check back about mid-week for details on our B’more Hoop Day whereabouts. Above is a recent shot of me hooping on the Atlantic coast’s Assateague Island. Whether it’s in your living room, workplace, vacation spot, city monument, or neighborhood sidewalk cafe, make sure to hoop it up with the masses on World Hoop Day!

Join us in Baltimore at the Inner Harbor from 3pm to 5pm. Hoops provided, costumes encouraged!
