I just had to share this hoop shot I spotted on the street the other day, from the clever animators over at Pixar, promoting their latest flick to be released this summer: Ratatouille. When I am teaching hooping to little ones, I usually strike up a discussion about all the places and things in life where we find hoops, rings, circles, and revolutions. Most frequently I tend to hear things like: wheels, glasses, ear-rings, necklaces, doorknobs, clocks, trashcans, eyeballs, and of course, hoola hoops! I don’t recall ever having heard someone answer “onion rings!” But here we have it; powerful, joyful, and delectable rings are all around us~
