Last year I joyfully celebrated being crowned Master of Hoops at Fluid Movement’s 1st annual fundraising Hoola-Hoop-A-Thon. Here’s a fuzzy but happy shot of Miss Saturn and myself after I won the trophy. This Saturday we will convene again to determine the 2007 Master, enjoy a mini-performance, and follow it up with a radical dance party into the night! The hoop-a-thon raises money for Fluid Movement’s 2007 Water Ballet. Be there or be seriously square! Here are the details:

6pm- Contest Registration and Warm-up
6:30-8pm- The Hoola-Hoop-A-Thon Takes Place!
8:30pm- Award Ceremony & Mini Performance featuring myself (as Strange Powers), Trixie Little, and the 2007 WINNER!
8:45-11pm- Dance Party Time with DJ Dwiggins, PB&J Bar, Sweet Face n Bod Painting, Hoop Rental and Sales, the Merry Milkmaids, and a cash bar!

$10 to compete OR just come to watch and party. Contest based on Endurance, Skill, and Style Challenges. Bonus points for costuming, creativity and hutzpah!
