This Saturday, yours truly will be go-go hoola-hooping at Baltimore’s upcoming Virgin Festival, a monster-size music fest at the Pimlico Race Course. For the $100 entrance fee, you get 10+ hours of stellar musical acts (think: Flaming Lips, Chili Peppers, the Who, Gnarls Barkley, Thievery Corporation, Scissor Sisters, RJD2, Brazilian Girls, VHS or Beta etc.), as well as a peek under the freaky big top that houses the ‘Thrilling Wonder Show’ where Trixie Little and the Evil Hate Monkey will be doing their thang along with a gang of other bedazzled performers, myself included. The Freak Lounge runs from 1-7pm, but the big bands start at noon and don’t stop until 10 pm, so come out early and relish all the rock star action and wild eye-candy in Maryland’s very own Charm City~
