Take a stroll down memory lane and celebrate Glen Echo Park’s fascinating past at the Then & Wow! Festival coming up on Saturday the 1st of July from noon until 6 pm. I will be leading an afternoon full of hoola-hooping (including a few prize hoops to be given away!) for folks of all sizes and ages. In addition, learn about the old Trolley Car and other historic parts of the park, play arcade games of yore, learn classic swing dancing in the Spanish Ballroom, check out the antique carousel amidst other amusement rides for kids, and be entertained by musicians, dancers, and other roving performers.
