Hooper du Cirque

Whoh. I just finished watching a spectacular hooping/contortionism act from the Alegria show of Cirque du Soleil, thanks to its recent post on hooping.org. While I am not a contortionist and not likely going to run off with the cirque anytime soon (although I do dream about it sometimes), it was truly inspiring to watch and adds greatly to my thoughts of late about learning new tricks. I really want to work on getting the hoop up from the ground, and the cirque clip provides repeated demonstration of this. Also, I want to be able to easily isolate and spin hoops on different parts of my body (i.e. knees and chest). I think that having hoops of exactly the same size may be a success factor with spinning multiple hoops the way you want them to go. I welcome suggestions and/or feedback from any skill masters out there.
